Pedal to Paris 2014

On the 4th September 2014 myself and my good friend Alastair Kelcher will depart from London on the Royal British Legion’s flagship fundraising event – “The Pedal to Paris“.

Cycling

As an Army veteran, I’ve witnessed first hand the fantastic work of The Royal British Legion, and I’m extremely excited to be able to support a cause which is so close to my heart.

In 2011 I had the privilege to cover that year’s Pedal to Paris for BFBS and ever since I’ve been hoping to get involved, and this year’s the year!!!!

We’re aiming to raise around £1500 each so please dig deep and help us smash that target! If everyone who reads this just donates a couple of quid we’ll be there in no time at all.  Please go to our JustGiving page or Text JBAK 80 £2 (or more!) to 70070.

Or if you like the look of any of my pictures (NOW REDUCED BY 25%) from either Kenya or Afghanistan, I’ll be donating 100% of the profits from the Afghan photos and 75% (25% to Parachute Regiment Charity) of the Kenyan photos.

Online Auction 22nd – 29th August 2014

As part of my fundraising for this year’s Royal British Legion Pedal to Paris I will be holding an online auction for 7 days in August.

To coincide with my Charity Mini-Golf tournament, the auction will go LIVE at 2000 Friday 22nd August and will run until 2000 Friday 29th August. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion.

The items will be auctioned on eBay and once live the links will be posted on this page.

Mel C (aka Sporty Spice) and Victoria Pendleton wish us good luck!

Following an interview with Mel and Victoria I cheekily asked them if they would wish us good luck for our Pedal to Paris challenge and this is what they said!

Ok so he messes my name up, but anyway Mo Farah wishes us good luck!

Looks like I’d better change my name to Betsy????
